Black lacquer shrine having two hinged doors adorned with copper gilt and lacquer mounts (kanagu).

Opening to reveal Amida Nyorai Buddha wearing a gilt monastic robe, standing on a double lotus base above a carved and tiered pedestal. All in front of a gilt mandala.

The doors painted with two attendant deities wearing elaborate flowing garb standing upon clouds.

A good quality lovely old zushi.
